Appointments

Here at KSTAR NAILS we take appointments first and do our very best to be on time for each appointment. We also try to accommodate walk-ins, if we have technicians available that can perform the desired service. Making an appointment is the best way to be sure you will get the services you want.

 

Tardiness

Please arrive on time for scheduled appointments. If you are more than 5 minutes late, we may have to move on to the next client in order to stay on schedule with other appointments and give the best service possible.

 

Group Parties (8 OF MORE GUESTS)

To stay on schedule, all members of your party should arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time. All parties must be booked at least 1 week in advance.
* A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking for group parties. The deposit is nonrefundable for no-shows. Cardholder will be held responsible for this charge. There will not be a charge for cancellations given with 24 hours’ notice.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. We recommend that you make reservations well in advance so that your desired time can be reserved.

Gift Cards

All gift card sales are final. Gift cards are not refundable or exchangeable. Gift cards should be treated as cash, and are not redeemable if lost or stolen. Luxia is not responsible for unauthorized use, lost, stolen or damaged gift cards. Gift cards may only be redeemed at the Luxia location from which they are purchased.

 

Cell Phones, Conversations &Child Supervision

All cell phones should remain on silent and conversations limited while in service areas. We ask that all guests keep voice levels to a minimum as we have created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Children should be supervised at all times, and remain respectful of those receiving services around them. This is your time to relax and rejuvenate!

 

Personal Belongings

Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Luxia is not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced items.

 

Medical Conditions

Please inform your nail technician of any medical conditions that may impact your visit. It is also imperative that we are aware of potential contagious conditions on your hands and feet. If such a condition exists, we cannot provide service(s) to you without written consent from your physician.

 

Services

In an effort to best value your time, we may assign a second nail technician to assist with separate services. If you would prefer that only one service gets done at a time, please let us know at the front desk during check-in.

 

Payment

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit cards for payment. Checks are not accepted.
*Due to rising card fees, cash is preferred. Credit and debit cards are always accepted. However, a 2% service fee is applied to all sales, the service fee will be itemized on your receipt. As an incentive, the service fee will be discounted off your purchase when paying in cash.

 

Refunds

No refunds will be provided for any service. We offer complimentary minor fixes within 3 days of the service completion, pending manager approval.

 

Repair

Only full-set nail enhancements and gel polish manicures are guaranteed for 3 business days after your appointment; excluding breakages. If you notice light chips or lifting in the first 3 days, please call us to schedule a free repair. Repairs after 3 days or for breakages, tears, and corner breaks are $5+ each. Lacquer polish services are not guaranteed. Please bring your receipt to show proof of services.

 

Prices

Prices are subject to change depending on length, shape, designs,
and etc. This applies to natural nails as well.

Pets

To comply with the SC Board of Cosmetology, only service animals are allowed inside our facility.

 

Misc.

We carry matching colors for dip, gel polish, and regular polish from reputable companies like OPI and Dip n Duo. These matching color sets are intended to be as close as possible, given the difference in ingredients and forms (powder vs gel polish).. Therefore we don’t guarantee the perfect match.
Please inform your technician right away when product is first applied, if the color is not as expected. Once the application is complete, additional charge will be applied if color change is requested by client.
Our staff is always happy to assist you with color choices and recommendations, but please keep in mind the ultimate decision is always yours.
